202408 Pyrenees by Zuzana   Recently updated !

The best climbing trip of my life!

If you love cycling, if you love climbing, if you love challenges, the Pyrenees are the right choice for you.

We especially loved Luchon so much, two weeks in July wasn’t enough, we went straight back in august for another few weeks of climbing!

Almost at the top!

The mountains make you feel calm; the Pyrenees are so breathtaking, you just love getting to the top every day to see more. There is something special about a big climb challenge, and there is nothing better than getting to the top and feeling amazing for not giving up, maybe there is something better, the views and the descents. Some climbs are so quiet and calm, it is the ultimate escape from the stress of the busy life.

We have done the famous Col du Tourmalet, we have done climbs where we haven’t seen a soul, they all have something special and different to offer.

My favourite climb is the Col d’Aspin, it is one of the more gentle climbs but with the best views.

My favourite place to stay is definitely Luchon, we felt so welcome there and there was enough to see and explore after the ride. In August you can enjoy the local flower festival, that is truly spectacular.

The best hotel in Luchon, is the Castel d’Alti, a spa hotel, with the best breakfasts!

There is so much to do for the non-cyclist, you can use the local spa or take the sky lift to the top of Superbagneres and just have a nice lunch with the best views or you can relax by the hotel pool.

We can’t forget to mention the great French cuisine and wine.

So if you have been cycling and training and now you are ready to take your cycling, your skills and confidence to a new level, come to the Pyrenees with us.

Why? Because it would be too quiet on your own, it would be less safe, less fun, because there is so much fun to share experiences and review the day over a lovely dinner.

We can organize the practical things, the Hotel, any bike rent, a mechanic, car support, transfers, etc.
